Westcott apollo mono mounting arm, when an Apollo light modifier is mounted onto a studio light, the studio light actually fits inside of the Apollo unit. The benefit of this is that the light can be bounced off of the back for a softer, indirect diffusion or straight out the front diffusion panel for a more specular result. However, if you are using a mono style light where the controls are on the back of the light head and want to maintain access for those controls, this accessory is a must have.

In order to provide strength and still be lightweight, this rod is constructed from anodized aluminum. This high-end knob is designed to make it easier to tilt your light source once it is attached to the mounting arm. To keep the weight out of the product, we opted to custom-mill this white block out of a heavy-duty nylon piece that is fully threaded.
