Canon XA65 4K UHD Professional Camcorder

With its 1/2.3-Type CMOS 4K sensor, versatile Canon zoom lens, advanced optical and dynamic image stabilisation, the Canon XA65 4K UHD Camcorder delivers professional 4K video and more. 4K UHD can be recorded in MP4 up to 150Mbps and XF-AVC up to 160Mbps for added versatility, while Full HD is oversampled from the full sensor.

Canon’s 20x optical zoom lens provides a wide angle 29.3 - 601mm telephoto range (35mm equivalent), which is ideal in a diverse range of recording environments. You can even record at night or during extreme low light thanks to an IR mode.

Autofocusing is fast and precise with an advanced Hybrid AF system, which includes face detection and Face Tracking. 5-axis stabilisation helps to keep footage smooth, even while using digital zoom to a maximum 800x magnification for extremely distant subjects.

You can capture stunning 4K UHD and superb Full HD video with the Canon XA65 thanks to a 4K 1/2.3-inch type CMOS sensor which is paired with the DIGIC DV6 image processor. Oversampled HD processing delivers Full HD images from the 4K sensor.

4K CANON 20X OPTICAL ZOOM LENS

The Canon lens covers a 29.3mm wide angle (full-frame equivalent) to 601mm with Dynamic IS and furthermore the digital zoom boosts to 800x with 5-axis image stabilisation.

FAST, PRECISE FOCUSING WITH FACE DETECTION

Adjustable focusing speeds and advanced Hybrid AF system give fast and precise focusing. Use the 3.5-inch LCD display to set focus by touching the AF point required. Face Detection AF and Face Tracking are available while Manual Focus is set via the focus/zoom ring.

FLEXIBLE RECORDING WITH XF-AVC AND MP4

Choose from XF-AVC or MP4 recording formats. Record XF-AVC 4K UHD 160Mbps at 25P, plus Full HD 45Mbps at 50P/50i/25P. For smaller files, record MP4 4K 150Mbps at 25P and Full HD 35Mbps or 17Mbps at 50P/25P.

PROFESSIONAL CONNECTIVITY

Output options include 3G-SDI, simultaneous backup and relay recording via dual SD card and Infrared mode. For specialist capture, record Slow Motion in Full HD 0.5x or Fast Motion in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x. Colour match with other Canon cameras via the custom picture menu. For those who don’t need 3G-SDI output the XA60 Camcorder is a viable alternative, offering identical features and performance.

LIVESTREAM AND MORE

Stream HD footage via UVC over a computer or add a date and time stamp with OSD recording. Two XLR terminals on a detachable handle plus 4-channel linear PCM bring pro audio options with external microphones and more.

INFRARED MODE

Capture high-quality video in conditions with little to no ambient light with IR mode.
