It arrives with a signature all-metal aluminium exterior and black anodised finish, and boasts an impressive field of view, of up to 114º.

Leica has developed the lens for SL system L mount cameras, which allows it to be mounted on mirrorless cameras from Sigma and Panasonic Lumix as well as full-frame and crop format SL system.

The front and rear elements include a Hydrophobe Aqua-Dura® anti-reflective coating to reduce reflections and the effects of reduced contrast in backlighting, and the lens is weather sealed for those shooting in the great outdoors.
