14-24mm focal range
The 14-24mm zoom range provides an ultra-wide perspective suitable for landscapes, interiors and architectural work. At 14mm, the lens delivers a 114.2° angle of view on full frame, allowing expansive scenes to be captured within a single frame, while 24mm offers a slightly tighter composition for general wide-angle shooting.

Optical construction
This is the first lens released under the Schneider-Kreuznach and LK Samyang optical collaboration. It uses a 15-element, 11-group optical design incorporating three aspherical elements, five high refractive elements and three extra-low dispersion elements. This structure controls distortion, chromatic aberration and sagittal coma.

Constant f/2.8 aperture
A fixed f/2.8 aperture is maintained throughout the zoom range, supporting consistent exposure settings when zooming. This aperture also enables lower ISO use in reduced light and supports astrophotography, where wider apertures help maintain shorter shutter speeds.

Minimum focusing distance
The lens focuses as close as 0.18m across the entire zoom range, allowing subjects to be positioned close to the front element while retaining a wide field of view.
