Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG II Art Lens - Sony E Mount

The Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG II Art lens builds upon its predecessor to offer exceptional resolution across the entire frame. A newly refined lens body allows the Mark II to be approximately 14% shorter and 20% lighter, and several space-saving innovations help to ensure a truly uncompromising compactness and portability. The Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG II Art Lens is available in both Sony E Mount and L Mount systems.

Improved Lens Construction
The internal components of the Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG II Lens have been completely redesigned in order to provide the best quality resolution. Constructed with 15-elements in 12 groups, which incorporate newly processed glass material along with four high-precision aspherical elements and two SLD glass elements. This allows the Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG II to thoroughly suppress axial chromatic aberration.

Beautiful Natural Bokeh
Produce images with beautiful natural bokeh thanks to the lenses' 11-blade rounded diaphragm, which can maintain its round shape even at maximum aperture.

Newly Developed Advanced Amorphous Coating
The Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG II features a newly developed Advanced Amorphous Coating. This coating offers a low-refractive-index amorphous layer, which reduces reflections responsible for ghosting and flare. Allowing you to capture exceptionally clear photos with high-contrast image quality.

Dual HLA System
Developed with Sigma’s dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) system, the Mark II delivers fast, accurate and quiet AF for both stills and video, letting you capture decisive moments reliably.

Constructed from high-precision aluminium, TSC and other materials, the Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG II offers a high level of rigidity, durability and build quality. Paired with its dust, splash-resistant structure and oil repellent coating, this lens can be used safely even in harsh outdoor environments.

Multiple Shooting Assist Functions
Designed with an AFL button, which can be accessed in two locations for easy landscape and portrait shooting. This function button can be set via your in-camera menu on selected cameras. The aperture ring is equipped with a ring lock switch and a click switch, allowing for quieter adjustment during filming.

Minimised Focus Breathing
The optimised focus group arrangement and spherical shape significantly suppresses focus breathing. This enables you to capture smooth video with minimised focus shift, letting you create natural-looking focus shift when recording video.
