The LBP-55S is a low profile, compact, Arca compatible ball head with a dual axis and a 55mm base that is designed for a mid to full-sized tripod or a monopod.

At just 100mm tall and weighing in at 425g, this is a super compact head, that doesn't disappoint. With an oversized 40mm ball and friction control, this head has a maximum load capacity of 25kg to manage the largest kits, while the latest Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology delivers a smooth, precise movement achieved through the mirror smooth finish that CNC production delivers.

In addition to the traditional pan axis on the base, this low profile ball head incorporates a second axis under the quick release plate. This allows you to level your tripod in seconds on any terrain for perfect panoramas, without needing to fuss around with the legs. Simply make sure your tripod is steady, level the head and you're ready to go, using the top axis to re-frame or pan your photo.

Alternatively, the dual axis ball head allows you make micro adjustments using the most appropriate axis, without needing to loosen the main ball joint and risk losing the overall setup.

Easy grip locking knobs can be tightened and released with ease, even in cold and wet conditions.
